Shaik Ibrahim Patel is a dedicated political leader and grassroots organiser from Sanathnagar Constituency, Hyderabad, widely recognised for his long-standing service to the Indian National Congress and his consistent involvement in public welfare and political activities.

Born on 15 January 1979 in Hyderabad, he is the son of Late Shaik Mehboob Patel, whose values of integrity and service deeply influenced his life. Coming from a socially conscious family, he developed a strong inclination toward community service and public engagement at an early age. He completed his education up to SSC level and simultaneously built his career in business while actively participating in political and social activities.

Shaik Ibrahim Patel began his political journey with the Indian National Congress in 1996, marking the beginning of over 26 years of dedicated service to the party. Over the years, he has steadily grown within the organisational structure through commitment, discipline, and consistent grassroots work. His contributions have been recognised through key positions in the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee (GHCC), where he served as Organiser Secretary (2008), General Secretary (2015), and later as Vice President (2018).

His political journey is defined by active participation in both organisational and public service activities. He has consistently attended and contributed to important meetings of the AICC, TPCC, and GHCC, ensuring his presence in key decision-making and coordination platforms within the party.

Throughout his career, Shaik Ibrahim Patel has remained deeply connected to the people through continuous involvement in social and political programmes. His work reflects a strong commitment to public welfare, which includes organising and participating in rallies, dharnas, and padayatras aimed at raising public issues and supporting democratic causes. He has also taken initiative in conducting medical camps and food distribution programmes, especially during times of need, extending support to underprivileged communities.

In the electoral sphere, he has played an active role in campaign management for both MLA and MP elections, contributing to party coordination and mobilisation efforts. His involvement as a General Elections Counting Agent further highlights his understanding of the electoral process and his commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability.

His journey of service and dedication can be reflected through multiple areas of work  his early association with Congress in 1996, continuous participation in grassroots movements, organisation of public welfare activities, involvement in election campaigns, contribution to party meetings at all levels, leadership roles within GHCC, support to party candidates, engagement with people’s issues at the constituency level, strengthening cadre networks, and his unwavering loyalty to the party ideology over more than two decades.

Deeply inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, he believes in politics that is rooted in service, equality, and inclusive development. His leadership approach focuses on accessibility, responsiveness, and strengthening the connection between the party and the people.

Currently serving as In-charge of Sanathnagar Constituency, Shaik Ibrahim Patel continues to work tirelessly to strengthen the Congress Party at the grassroots level and address the needs of the public.

With over 30 years of continuous service, strong organisational experience, and proven commitment to party values, he respectfully seeks an opportunity to serve in a higher capacity. He humbly submits his request to the party leadership to consider him for the position of General Secretary in the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).
