Waqf Board Chairman Syed Azmatullah Husseni conducts orientation programs on Umeed Central Portal in Warangal, Nizamabad, Armoor and Nirmal to streamline community development services.

Waqf Board Chairman Syed Azmatullah Husseni spearheaded orientation sessions on the Umeed Central Portal across several locations in Telangana, aiming to enhance digital accessibility for community welfare services. The program began at Abnooz Function Hall in Warangal City, with participation from representatives across the erstwhile Warangal district. Similar awareness programmes were later conducted in Nizamabad City, Armoor town of Nizamabad district, and Nirmal town, drawing active engagement from local stakeholders.

Husseni emphasised that the portal is designed to streamline the process of accessing welfare schemes, support mechanisms, and development initiatives targeted at minority communities. He urged community leaders and volunteers to help citizens make effective use of the portal for faster service delivery

The rollout of the Umeed Central Portal at the grassroots level is likely to improve transparency and reduce procedural delays. Experts suggest that digital orientation programmes such as these can be highly impactful in tier-2 and rural areas, provided consistent follow-up training is implemented.
With elections approaching, the move also reflects the administration’s attempt to demonstrate proactive governance and engagement with minority communities.
