Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has called Deputy CM DK Shivakumar for a breakfast meeting to discuss the leadership dispute, affirming both leaders will abide by the Congress high command’s decision.

In an effort to ease mounting political strain, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has invited Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar for a breakfast discussion on November 29. The move comes following instructions from the Congress high command, signalling an attempt to resolve the escalating leadership tussle behind closed doors.

Speaking to the media, Siddaramaiah reiterated that there has been no shift in his position and both leaders are committed to adhering to whatever decision is taken by the party’s central leadership. He further said he is ready to travel to Delhi if summoned by the high command.
