Punjab is witnessing its worst floods since 1988, with over 1,000 villages submerged and thousands of families displaced. Joining relief efforts, Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation has partnered with NGOs to support 1,500 flood-hit families in Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka, and Ferozpur.

Each family is receiving kits with food, medicines, hygiene supplies, mosquito nets, and shelter essentials. The foundation, known for helping acid attack survivors and women welfare projects, is also working with Roundglass Foundation and Voice of Amritsar for long-term rehabilitation.

Several celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, and Sonu Sood, have also extended support to Punjab’s flood relief mission.
