Saudi Arabia launches Humain Chat, an Arabic-first AI app

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has unveiled Humain Chat, a new Arabic-first conversational AI platform developed by Humain, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company. Powered by the Kingdom’s flagship large language model, ALLaM 34B, the app is available on web, iOS, and Android.
The service is designed for over 400 million Arabic speakers and two billion Muslims worldwide, offering seamless switching between Arabic and English, speech input across dialects, real-time web search, and conversation sharing. Hosted on Saudi infrastructure, it complies with the country’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Humain CEO Tareq Amin said the launch reflects Saudi Arabia’s vision to build “globally competitive yet culturally authentic” AI, marking the start of regional expansion with global rollout plans ahead.
