Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday said the party will fight the next Assembly elections under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership, adding that if MLAs desired, he could continue as CM in the second term as well.

He said the CM and ministers had worked in coordination over the past year and dismissed concerns over turncoat MLAs, stating Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender may not lose his seat. On BC reservations in local body polls, he assured efforts to implement 42% quota. Goud also said the high command will take a call on disciplinary issues, including Munugode MLA Rajgopal Reddy’s remarks.
