Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated Seva Teerth along with Kartavya Bhavan-1 and Kartavya Bhavan-2 in New Delhi, describing the occasion as a significant milestone in administrative transformation. Addressing officials and staff members present at the event, he congratulated teams from the Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Secretariat and various government departments, while also acknowledging engineers and workers involved in the construction of the new facilities.
In messages shared later on social media, the Prime Minister said the newly inaugurated complex reflects a commitment to public service guided by the principle of “India First.” He described Seva Teerth as a symbol of duty and dedication aimed at strengthening governance.
During the event, the Prime Minister also cleared several proposals linked to welfare and development. Among the decisions announced was the launch of the PM RAHAT scheme, which will provide accident victims with cashless treatment of up to ₹1.5 lakh. The target under the Lakhpati Didi initiative has been doubled to six crore beneficiaries, while the allocation for the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been raised from ₹1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore. Additionally, approval was granted for Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a corpus of ₹10,000 crore to support early-stage and deep-tech ventures.
The announcements indicate a continued focus on welfare delivery, women’s empowerment, agriculture support and startup growth. Policy observers note that implementation efficiency will determine how effectively these expanded targets translate into tangible benefits at the grassroots level.
