New Delhi: Marking Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation through a letter, urging citizens to draw inspiration from the Constitution’s core values of justice, equality and national unity. He reflected on how the Constitution safeguards the dreams of India’s freedom fighters while shaping a future that is inclusive and resilient for upcoming generations.
Echoing these sentiments, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid tribute to the visionary work of the Constituent Assembly, noting that the document continues to evolve with the hopes of millions. He emphasised that India’s journey towards becoming an Aatmanirbhar (self-reliant) and confident Viksit Bharat (developed nation) by 2047 must be steered by the Constitution’s guiding principles.
