Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha on Monday accused her cousin and former irrigation minister T Harish Rao of conspiring to frame her father, ex-CM K Chandrashekar Rao, in the Kaleshwaram project inquiry. She also named J Santosh Kumar and Megha Engineering MD Krishna Reddy, alleging they “handled key aspects of the project” and “accumulated assets while scapegoating KCR.”

Kavitha claimed BRS leaders were colluding with CM A Revanth Reddy, who earlier announced a CBI probe into the project following the PC Ghose Commission report. “KCR will come out clean. He worked for irrigation reforms, not money,” she said.

Harish Rao dismissed the report as “political drama,” citing procedural lapses and alleging vendetta. BRS MLAs staged a walkout in the Assembly and dumped copies of the report at Gun Park in protest.
