Owaisi Urges Telangana Government to Install X-Ray Machine at Osmania Hospital
Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi seeks immediate installation of X-ray equipment at Osmania General Hospital, citing delays and difficulties for patients.
Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has urged Telangana Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narasimha to address the shortage of X-ray equipment at Osmania General Hospital.
In a letter and post on X, the AIMIM chief said patients requiring X-ray examinations are being referred to Gandhi Hospital, causing additional travel, delays and expenses for patients and attendants.
Owaisi said four new X-ray machines have already been identified as necessary for the hospital and requested their early installation, particularly to ease difficulties faced by elderly and critically ill patients.
Improving diagnostic facilities within major government hospitals could reduce unnecessary patient movement and speed up treatment. The issue also highlights the importance of ensuring essential equipment keeps pace with patient demand.
