Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday called on the State government to take up immediate relief operations as heavy rains triggered severe flooding across Telangana. He also appealed to party cadre to actively participate in rescue efforts.

Floodwaters have left several districts, including Kamareddy, Medak, Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Khammam, and Adilabad, badly affected. Highways, including stretches of NH-44, have been cut off, while roads, bridges, and basic services remain disrupted, leaving thousands stranded without essentials.
