KTR Invites OpenAI to Set Up India Operations in Hyderabad

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) welcomed OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and urged him to establish the company’s India operations in Hyderabad. Emphasizing the city’s thriving innovation ecosystem, AI-driven initiatives, and strong global tech presence, KTR pitched Hyderabad as the natural hub for artificial intelligence.

Altman, who recently confirmed plans to open an OpenAI office in India, is scheduled to visit the country next month. Seizing the moment, KTR highlighted Hyderabad’s world-class infrastructure and vibrant startup culture, calling it the ideal gateway for OpenAI’s expansion in India.

In a post on social media, KTR said Hyderabad is well-positioned to host global leaders like OpenAI, reaffirming the city’s status as a preferred destination for emerging technologies.
