BRS leader KTR says people are angry with Congress policies, Hyderabad’s economy is collapsing, and Revanth Reddy’s honeymoon period as CM is ending.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao has launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, claiming that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s “honeymoon period” with the people of Telangana is already coming to an end. Speaking at a meeting in Hyderabad, KTR accused the government of ignoring students’ fee reimbursement issue and warned that BRS would wage a battle if it continues to neglect the youth.

He alleged that Hyderabad’s once-strong economy has been shaken under Congress rule, with policies creating fear among investors. “For a decade, BRS built Hyderabad into Telangana’s economic engine. Today, under Revanth Reddy, that progress is collapsing,” KTR said, adding that people now believe BRS must return to power to ensure development.

KTR also criticised the state government for being the first in India to implement the controversial Waqf Amendment Act, pointing out that even BJP-ruled states had not enforced it. Calling the move anti-minority, he accused Congress of betraying public trust.

Declaring that opportunists have already left BRS and that early elections may be held within nine months, KTR urged party leaders to prepare for a “Vijaya Yatra” and expose the failures of the Congress government across the state.

For many citizens, the question now is whether Revanth Reddy’s promises of change are turning into disappointment faster than expected.
