KTR’s attack on Rahul Gandhi over election fraud claims raises questions. Is the government dodging real governance issues by dismissing concerns without evidence?

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for alleging large-scale election fraud, calling the remarks baseless and politically motivated. But instead of dismissing the issue outright, the government should address the growing concerns over electoral transparency.

Critics argue that attacking the opposition does little to restore people’s trust in democracy. Citizens deserve answers, not political mudslinging. Rather than labeling allegations as “irresponsible,” the ruling side should ensure a fair and transparent process to protect democratic values.

At a time when unemployment, inflation, and governance failures worry people, shifting focus to blame games only widens the gap between citizens and leaders. If the government truly values democracy, it must prioritize accountability and strengthen institutions, instead of silencing criticism.
