More than 18 lakh SIR forms remain uncollected in Hyderabad, with Old City constituencies reporting major gaps as the submission deadline closes.

A significant number of voter enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) remain uncollected in Hyderabad, with reports indicating that nearly 39% of electors in the city have not completed the process.

The Old City accounts for a major share, with around 8.64 lakh forms pending across seven constituencies, including Chandrayangutta and Malakpet, which reported the highest gaps. Officials noted that urban areas are witnessing more challenges in form collection compared to other regions.

Across Telangana, a large portion of uncollected forms is concentrated in Greater Hyderabad, even as overall digitisation has crossed 78%. However, Hyderabad continues to lag behind the state average.

With the deadline now closing, last-minute submissions are expected to push numbers higher. Voters are advised to complete the process promptly, as delays could lead to verification notices or complications in electoral records.
