Hyderabad Gears Up for Ganesh Immersion with Tight Security, Road Repairs

Hyderabad, Sept 2: Police commissioner C.V. Anand has directed tight security measures during Ganesh processions, stressing vigilance against anti-social activities like pickpocketing and chain snatching. He urged organisers to ensure idol immersion happens swiftly and safely.
GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan said over 90% of potholes across the city have been repaired ahead of the immersion. As many as 393 cranes, 160 security teams, DRF units, boats, and medical camps have been deployed at 20 designated lakes to ensure smooth and safe immersions.
