Patna: The Congress’ 14-day, 1,300-km-long ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, led by Rahul Gandhi, will conclude in Patna on Monday with a grand ‘Gandhi se Ambedkar’ procession. The march will begin from Gandhi Maidan at 11:15 am and conclude at the Ambedkar statue near Patna High Court, where INDIA bloc leaders will pay tributes and address a public gathering.

Top opposition leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Tejashwi Yadav, Hemant Soren, Dipankar Bhattacharya, D Raja, M A Baby, Sanjay Raut, Supriya Sule, Yusuf Pathan and Lalitesh Tripathi are expected to join the event. The city has been decked with colourful posters of Congress and allied leaders.

Launched on August 17 from Sasaram, the yatra covered over 110 constituencies across 25 districts, highlighting alleged voter roll irregularities in Bihar. The opposition has accused the Election Commission of deleting 65 lakh names from draft rolls under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), terming it an “assault on voting rights.”
