CM Revanth Reddy Launches ‘Bhu Bharati’ Portal, Slams ‘Dharani’

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday launched the ‘Bhu Bharati’ land administration portal, replacing the BRS-era ‘Dharani’ system. Handing over appointment letters to newly recruited Grama Palana Officers, he said people wanted “liberation” from Dharani, which he alleged was used to grab lands.

Reddy accused the previous regime of sidelining VROs and VRAs to cover up land scams and urged the new GPOs to adopt a pro-people approach to restore trust.
