Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy accused the BRS and BJP of enacting a “political drama” over the urea issue. He pointed to K.T. Rama Rao’s remark that BRS would support “any party that supplies urea” in the Vice-Presidential elections as proof of their understanding.
Revanth said there was no shortage of urea at the district level and noted that he had taken up the matter with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Anupriya Patel multiple times.
The CM also thanked party leadership for naming Justice Sudarshan Reddy as the INDI bloc’s Vice-Presidential candidate and added that the state was preparing to strongly defend its BC reservation bill in the Supreme Court.
